About Christina
Christina's career as an astrologer and researcher is informed by her work in counseling, academia, and international community development. However, all of her roles have stemmed from the same place: a love for patterns and a desire to bring people from different perspectives and backgrounds together.
Her sensitivity to differing cultures, traditions, stories and languages, started in the farmlands of Wisconsin, USA in households of both migrant Dutch and Jamaican family members. These formative experiences heightened her ability to communicate across diverse perspectives and identify what makes us both different and the same.
Now she utilizes astrological research as both a language and a tool that connects us all across time and space. By identifying personal ("natal") and collective ("mundane") historical patterns, Christina's approach is to empower both individuals and humanity to make choices aligned with the narrative they want to tell, rather than the one they've felt bound to repeat.

What is your approach?
I currently use modern psychological, archetypal, traditional Hellenistic, and Jyotisa (Vedic) methods. While I do not "mix and match" techniques, I do look for repeating themes that arise within each method. I do not see a chart as merely fated: I see potentialities of how to play the hand that life has dealt you.
Where did you learn astrology?
I first started learning about astrology in 2012. Like most astrologers, I began as self-taught. Beginning in 2020, I enrolled in formal programs to round out my skills. I have studied with The Faculty of Astrological Studies (UK), Nightlight Astrology/Adam Elenbaas (US), Aswin Subramanyan (India), plus ongoing, additional global training and courses. As of 2026, I'm also pursuing a PhD in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness at California Institute of Integral Studies.
Are you a licensed therapist?
While I am trained (Masters of Counseling Psychology) and have previously been a therapist, I am not currently licensed, and I cannot accept insurance. If I deem it necessary, I may refer you to a licensed mental health professional better suited to meet your needs.
Do you offer a guarantee?
No, and here's why: while astrology is highly technical, it offers probabilities and not certainties. It is also an art interpreted by the astrologer which interacts with your personal choices. Therefore, it cannot inherently be 100% accurate. However, I try to strike a balance between offering helpful guidance and not over-promising.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
I ask for 24 hour notice prior to your scheduled individual consultation to reschedule. The time required to prepare for an appointment is included in the price, therefore additional prep may not be feasible if we're unable to meet as scheduled. I'm unable to offer refunds once an appointment has been booked.
What's the difference between consulting with an astrologer vs. AI?
While AI may be able to give you common themes that arise from a particular planetary combination, it cannot independently infuse intuition, discernment or moral judgment. Most importantly, AI cannot feel empathy, care or concern for your story. Therefore, AI will not be able to completely connect with you or speak with discernment to the nuances of your current situation as a human astrologer can and desires to.
How do you handle data & confidentiality?
Your privacy is important to me. All sessions occur in a confidential setting. I have also implemented 'Privacy by Design and Default' principles to ensure that data protection is considered from the outset and in compliance with GDPR and DSAR, as well as CPRA / other US States' data privacy acts.
